Hallie

(Hallie thinks that by touching noses and looking deep into your eyes
she can peer into your soul...
and also get close enough to smell what you had for lunch....)

Hallie is our rescue Westie. When a customer returned Hallie to a Nevada petstore after the customer's vet diagnosed Hallie with CMO (craniomandibular osteopathy), a genetic disease that can sometimes kill, the petstore owner turned Hallie over to us. She was very ill but was strong of heart and not only survived, but has thrived. (See below for more links to articles and information about CMO).

After spending most of her 6 1/2 month young life waiting in a pet store for a home, Hallie had lots of running to catch up on so most of her first photos look like this (is this Hallie coming or going?):

Hallie coming...

And Hallie going...

Hallie (after a run through the mud) impatiently sitting for a photo shoot and only because a leash is keeping her there...
